Role: TARVA Trial Manager
Claire graduated from the University of Newcastle with a degree in Food and Human Nutrition in 2003 after spending a year on placement at the Centre for Public Health Nutrition Research at the University of Dundee. Keen to pursue a career in research, she went on to coordinate a large randomised controlled trial in cervical cancer screening at the University of Manchester from 2004 – 2008. In 2009 she obtained a Masters in Public Health from the University of Manchester. After living abroad working as a teacher and volunteer in various education and sustainability themed projects, she returned to the UK in 2012 to work as Project Officer in a collaborative study between the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, and NHS Blood and Transplant. She joined the UCL Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit in December 2013.
