Mr Goldberg OBE qualified from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School (Imperial College London) in 1994 and following specialist fellowships in Europe and the US, he was appointed as Clinical Senior Lecturer in Trauma & Orthopaedics at UCL, and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Foot & Ankle Unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. His research interests include regenerative medicine treatments, including collagen induced cartilage repair (CICR) and the effects of Stem Cell Therapy on Achilles Tendinopathy. He is highly published and acts as a reviewer for several grant awarding bodies and high impact peer reviewed publications. He has a major interest in clinical trials and is the Chief Investigator on the TARVA trial. He was responsible for the creation of the National Joint Registry for Ankle Replacements and he sits on the Outcomes Committee of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS) and several national patient reported outcome measures’ projects.
